THE GITE
The gite is attached to the main house, but completely self-contained and screened. Accessed by its own driveway, there is ample parking space and a private garage. The secluded private garden has mature pear trees and a barbecue built-in to the corner of the perimeter wall with a view across the golf course down towards the wood and the swimming pool.
Room Features
Accommodation comprises, on the ground floor, a large sun room, lounge, kitchen, double bedroom, fully fitted bathroom with bath and shower, as well as a separate shower and w/c. The kitchen has a gas cooker and oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee percolator, and there is a small laundry room adjacent with a washing machine. The lounge has TV (French terrestrial channels), DVD Player, a CD player, well-stocked bookshelves of holiday reading in both English and French, a selection of toys for children, and games and pastimes for the young and not-so-young. There is heating provision in both the lounge and sun room in the event of inclement weather.
Upstairs, the open-beamed accommodation has a single bedroom and an adjoining large double bedroom with an additional single bed and a child’s cot. There are separate wash rooms and w/c. In all, there is accommodation for up to six people.
